MODEL RUNOUT SPECIAL
See "BARGAINS" tab (left) for limited-time, direct-purchase offer. The SUPER RULETM has been developed to assist students and teachers of modern curriculums in classrooms and at home. It is suitable for precise and easy drawing, measuring, graphing, tessellating, transforming, inscribing and circumscribing.
It is designed to be of the most functional use, whilst being compact enough to store in 2-D and 4-D ring-binder files. The DIAMOND model has been manufactured in tough, clear plastic. An optional printed Instruction Booklet is available with the DIAMOND model.
The SUPER RULETM has a unique design that provides the opportunity to measure length (to 250 mm) and angle (with a built in protractor) AND to draw parabolas, hyperbolas, sine, cosine and tangent curves AND to draw a huge variety of shapes and patterns.
It uses the patented TAGsTM (Template Assistance Graphics) to show the relationships between various shapes. With these, students can do all sorts of secondary template work (relating one shape with another), as easy as glancing at the template. There is no need to refer to the instruction booklet to find out which shapes go with which.
It is designed for use by high school and college mathematics students.
Its graduations are metric and is suitable in countries using the metric units of measurement.
There is also the GREEN version of the SUPER RULETM which is available for those preferring a non-clear background.
A BLUE version of the SUPER RULETM using mainly non-metric units is also available for countries like the U.S.
It is a wide flat template, thin but much wider than the conventional student ruler and similar products such as the MULTIRULETM (see links in side bar).Features of the SUPER RULETM :
Linear measurement to 250 mm
Incorporates all of the common shapes required in a modern mathematics classroom
Related shapes are arranged in clusters and connected by lines for easy recognition
Related shapes are recognised by observation of the TAGsTM (Template Assistance Graphics)
